Scott joined Edison in 2004 as President of our Tungsten Learning business. Under Scott’s leadership, Tungsten’s business effectiveness was substantially enhanced and experienced significant growth. He subsequently served Edison’s Charter Division as SVP of Business Development and Strategy. During that time, he implemented a new state development strategy that focused the business on identification of quality partners and profitable business. In addition, Scott played a critical leadership role in launching our newly created sales and marketing department.
Scott has over 20 years of sales, marketing, and business management experience. Prior to joining Edison, Scott was vice president of Sales for Apple PowerSchool.
Prior to joining Apple, Scott work at Centrinity Inc. for 10 years as a member of the Senior Executive Team which engineered and marketed a unified communications and collaboration system as well as professional services to K-12, Higher Education, Telecommunications and Commercial sector enterprises in North America and EMEA. Scott was also directly involved in two important corporate acquisitions—he helped lead Centrinity from a start-up software company to a $20M+ profitable publicly traded corporation and assisted in shaping the Company’s product development priorities.
In the late 80’s and 90’s Scott worked with Xerox in a number of sales and marketing capacities in both the Xerox Product Division and Outsourcing Services Divisions. Scott was trained in numerous renowned Xerox programs, including:
Leadership Through Quality, Management by Fact, and Solution Selling. He also acted as the Chairman of the United Way Campaign while at Xerox.
Scott has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the
University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Business
Administration from Pace University.
