Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Jeff leads Edison Schools efforts to drive growth by further
strengthening our ability to deliver on our promise to our
most important clients - our students.
Jeff joined Edison in January 2007 as president of the newly expanded District Partnership division. In this role, Jeff serves as an integral part of the senior team helping to direct Edison's continued growth by leading the development of divisional strategy, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, and ensuring progress towards the attainment of Edison's overall goals and objectives.
Jeff has an extensive history in strategy development and operational/financial management. Prior to joining Edison, Jeff spent 15 years with General Electric (GE) in a variety of operational and P&L assignments, including senior leadership positions with GE Consumer Finance (formerly GE Capital). While at GE, Jeff served as president and COO of GE Consumer Finance’s Great Lakes Bureau in Buffalo, NY.
Jeff’s career began as a supervising senior accountant at KPMG-Peat Marwick. Most recently, Jeff served as COO for Outsourcing Solutions Inc. (OSI), a leader in outsourced credit, collections and customer service to institutions in the Banking, Financial Services, Government, Healthcare, Education Lending, Telecommunications and Utility industries.
Jeff is a graduate of Walsh University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He is also a Certified Black Belt in “Six Sigma,” a highly disciplined process to help companies focus on developing and delivering near-perfect products and services.
