Diagnostics and Planning
Edison Alliance and the district engage in a thorough assessment of each school’s strengths and weaknesses and prepare comprehensive intervention plans that meet each school’s needs. This planning and assessment phase is an essential building block to raising student achievement at partnership schools.
The Alliance partnership begins with an intensive diagnostic survey of each partnership school by a team of trained Edison diagnostic experts. The result of the diagnostic is a comprehensive report for each school that assesses and provides initial recommendations in such areas as leadership, instruction, student care, learning environment, family and community relations, and achievement management.
PLANNING
Based on the findings of the diagnostic, Edison, the district, and partnership school administrators develop intervention plans that are customized to meet each school’s specific needs and requirements.
