Academy of Science
Our
Mission:
To
be the best K4 - 12 school in the region: a school that educates
the whole
student, focuses on science, math and technology, and graduates
students
prepared to excel in higher education and science-related careers.
The Milwaukee Academy of Science
is an
independent charter school, opened in August 2000. The school serves
students
from K4 through eighth grade. Our rich and challenging curriculum
emphasizes
science and the partnerships we have in the community enable us to
offer
our students unique science opportunities.
The school is governed by the
Milwaukee
Science Education Consortium a 501c(3) organization with
representatives
from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Marquette University, Cardinal
Stritch
University, Alverno College and Mount Mary College. The Consortium has
chartered with University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
