Prior to joining Edison, Jim spent nine years with Sierra Health Services, a diversified health services company that operates health maintenance organizations, preferred provider organizations, and a multispecialty medical group. He was the companyís chief financial officer and treasurer from 1994 through early 1998. From 1989 to 1994 he served as Sierraís director of finance and corporate controller. Before Sierra, Jim was a senior accountant at Deloitte and Touche. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
