Position Summary:
Job Summary:
Develop, standardize and maintain Edison's intellectual capital relating to Achievement Management, Student Management and Behavior, and School Organization and Culture. Create and deliver high-quality, results-based Professional Development for principals and Vice President of Educational Services. Provide support and oversight of field achievement activities to ensure high-quality results.

Main Responsibilities and Time Requirement:
- Create/improve/maintain Edison Intellectual Property relating to school leadership (specific tasks relating to Achievement Management, Student Management, School Organization/Culture and Professional Development to be assigned by the Chief Education Officer
- Create and participate in delivery of Professional Development for Vice President of Educational Services and Principals
- Directly support three regions through monthly phone and email communication as well as on periodic on-site visits
- Departmental Planning and Collaboration



Special Skills/Experience Required:
Key Competencies:
- Strong Understanding of Standards Based Instruction and Assessment
- Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills
- Ability to influence others without having direct supervisory authority
- Ability to research Edison programs, identify gaps in intellectual property as well as implementation failures, and create new programs, training and implementation approaches to improve school performance

Background:
- 5 years of combined building leadership experience (i.e., principal, assistant principal, department chair, curriculum coordinator, lead teacher), including at least 2 years as a principal
- Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction or Master's Degree in a specialty area such as Elementary Education or Secondary Education or Master's Degree in Educational Administration & Supervision
