Student Recruiter (Part-Time)

Position Summary:
The Student Recruiter is charged with driving enrollment in the Newton Learning SES After-School tutoring program. Ideally, the Student Recruiter is an active member of the school community (a parent, education student, school volunteer, or community activist) and is responsible for promoting the Newton Learning after-school program to parents and students at school and community events while adhering to strict guidelines and policies. Events may include, but are not limited to, giving presentations to parents, one-on-one meetings before and after school and speaking and/or working publicity booths at community functions. Student Recruiters may be asked to recruit other Recruiters to help during peak periods.



Special Skills/Experience Required:
· Must have recent experience working in the school community
· Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, previous experience giving presentations and/or public speaking
· Previous sales or campaign experience is a plus
· Must have HS diploma/GED minimum
· Must pass a rigorous background check prior to being hire
· Bilingual candidates a PLUS
· Recruitment Specialists cannot be school district employees
