Edison Schools Announces Further Expansion of Schools in New York State

Edison Schools announced that it plans to open a school in Riverhead this fall in partnership with the Riverhead Charter School Board.

In the fall of 2001, the Riverhead Charter School will open its doors to approximately 246 students in grades K-4. In 2002, it plans to expand to 400 students in grades K-5, and by the fifth year it plans to enroll as many as 600 students in grades K-5.
