Edison Schools In Talks with Clark County, Nevada for Significant Cluster of Schools Monday, January 22, 2001 Edison confirmed that it is in discussions with the Clark County School District of Las Vegas, Nevada, regarding the launch of a significant cluster of schools in the fall of 2001. Edison has proposed an arrangement that would begin with 8 schools and an enrollment of approximately 8,000 students with a potential expansion to 22,000 students in later years. Should the Clark County discussions come to a successful conclusion, it would represent Edison's largest concentration of students. These talks represent the fourth potential cluster of new schools announced by Edison in recent weeks.
