 Edison Schools announces an expansion of operations in Illinois Friday, December 15, 2000 Edison announced that it will manage a new school in Peoria, Illinois, beginning next fall. As of the academic year 2001-2002, Edison will operate four schools in the Peoria community. Rolling Acres-Edison Middle School will open its doors to approximately 350 students in grades 5 - 8 in fall 2001.
