CEO Update: September 2007
WORKING TO CREATE A BRIGHTER FUTURE
IN NEW ORLEANS

Two years after Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans, the Broadmoor Improvement Association (BIA) and Edison Schools, welcomed students for the first day of classes at the Andrew H. Wilson Elementary School on Tuesday, September 4. Teachers greeted students in chefs' hats and aprons, following the theme Cooking Up Success in Broadmoor.
This is the first school in Louisiana for Edison Schools. Our partnership with the Broadmoor Improvement Association has allowed us to realize that within incredible challenges lay great opportunities. We now can help remake this historic neighborhood for a new generation to live and learn and grow.
We congratulate our Broadmoor Partners and celebrate this victory for Andrew H. Wilson students.
