Edison Alliance offers unparalleled site support and intensive, ongoing professional and leadership development as an essential part of its achievement partnerships.
ONSITE SUPPORT TEAM
Locally based achievement advisors generally include an achievement specialist, a reading specialist, a math specialist, and a technology specialist, dedicated to each cluster of 6-8 schools. These advisors work with principals and school staff to review data, to implement new initiatives, and to regularly assess school progress toward goals. Reading and math specialists work with school staff to improve schoolwide reading/language arts and math instruction. Other specialists work to support and strengthen a variety of curriculum areas, learning environment, ELL, and student management according to the needs of each community.
NATIONAL SUPPORT
Members of Edison's national network of education, technology, and operations experts will work with the Alliance onsite support team and teachers and administrators to implement the achivement tools, Achievement Management Systems, and professional development sessions to meet the targets set out in each school's intervention plan.
