| Implementation Specialist Location: Skokie, IL School: Position Summary: The Achievement Management Systems (AMS) Office of Edison Schools/Tungsten Learning develops and implements technology used by schools across the country. The Office, located in Skokie, IL is seeking a qualified Implementation Specialist. The AMS office places web servers in schools and the Implementation Specialist is primarily responsible for coordinating the set up of this appliance in the schools. This coordination occurs via telephone and email contact with remote tech staff. Following the initial installations, the Implementation Specialist maintains the relationship with the remote school and assists with any ongoing support issues/needs. Implementation Specialist Responsibilities Implementation Specialists are responsible for the successful implementation of the service into schools districts across the country. Primary duties include: · Creating and maintaining positive relationships with school contacts · Acting as a liaison to the schools to both members of the school district as well as other members of Edison Schools/Tungsten Learning. · Responsible for overall project coordination, as well as assuring that the technology is in place for a successful program launch · System deployment - coordination of school server installations, including obtaining preliminary network information, data analysis, and data mapping. · Training site administrators on data maintenance and front-end system use. Other duties include: · Systems testing and assisting the product development team with quality assurance · Post-implementation support and ongoing relationship management · Tech support - responding to teacher and school administrator questions regarding the Achievement Management System products; on-the-spot troubleshooting of problems over the phone · Miscellaneous administrative tasks The Implementation Specialist may also be responsible for training teachers, making outbound calls to teachers and other school staff. Also, Edison Schools/Tungsten Learning encourages employees to offer assistance in other areas as their expertise permits.
