Position Summary:
Achievement Advisors
Tungsten Learning, a division of Edison Schools that works with
district clients in support of student achievement is currently seeking Achievement Advisors with a specific interest in candidates from the Mid-West.
In this role, you will serve as the primary point person for the Tungsten Learning
Achievement program in the district as the key-reinforcing component
of the three integrated elements of the Tungsten Learning program:
Benchmark Interim Assessments, Professional Development, and
Achievement consulting and support. Goals are improved student achievement in the district and clients satisfied that our program was a
critical part of their success. Specifically, you will work with district
officials to review existing test and Benchmark assessment data and
current school improvement plans, and deliver on-site professional
development training in areas related to achievement. Travel required
up to 65-75% of the time. Immediate start date preferred.



Special Skills/Experience Required:
Qualified candidates will possess direct experience in school or district
administration and/or directing student achievement functions at a
school or district level; experience in developing & delivering
professional development; classroom teaching experience; ability to
critically evaluate school & district level achievement issues &
remedies, to perform data analysis of tests & assessments, to adapt,
create, and deliver professional development materials, to
communicate effectively at all levels, and to build effective partnerships
with clients; PC proficiency; and strong written/verbal communication
skills.
