| Business Analyst/Application Support Location: New York, NY School: Position Summary: The Business Analyst/Application Support will be responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise-wide applications. These responsibilities include: security and user account maintenance, performing software and data upgrades, training, assisting users in trouble-shooting application issues and ensuring high availability of production services; will be required to work with business users to formulate and define systems scope and objectives for all components in project life-cycle development, these components consist of gathering user requirements, documenting process flows and user requirements, researching possible in-house and vendor solutions, providing detail specifications and assisting in the QA testing; May be required to serve as project manager for small projects; Provide front-line system support and analysis to business users of enterprise-wide applications; Analyze, test and resolve software defects working directly with business users and utilizing external resources such as the Lawson GSC; Accurately document and resolve user issues entered in a service call database; Administration of enterprise applications for users and security profiles; Train customers and other support staff in Lawson product administration; Provide after-hours coverage for critical support issues as needed; Develop knowledge of Lawson software products and new product upgrades; Provide project management functions where needed. Manage tasks for contracted services.
