Position Summary:
The Charter School of Science & Technology and Edison Schools Inc. are seeking an experienced dedicated and motivated Principal to lead the school commencing on or about July 1, 2004.
CSST serves over 1000 students in grades K-8 in Rochester NY. We seek a professional with drive, dedication, vision, superior communication skills, proven success in an urban education setting and an unwavering commitment to high academic standards.

Special Skills/Experience Required:
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, including a minimum of 3 - 5 years
· of exemplary teaching and administrative experience
· New York Principal Certification
· Proven success as an administrator, a communicator and a motivator
· Demonstrated ability to meet the challenges of a culturally, economically diverse environment
· Proven ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff and the community
· Demonstrated collaborative leadership skills and ability to facilitate change for continued student improvement
· Proven skills in public relations, staff development and school finance.
