"Lighting the way for your child's bright future"

We are a tuition free (no charge) public school for grades kindergarten through eight.


  Special features include:
  • A rich and challenging curriculum with a focus on reading and math
  • Research proven curriculum and teaching methods
  • All day, every day (7.5 hours daily) kindergarten
  • A uniform dress code
  • Specialist subjects including music, art, physical education, and Spanish
  • School organization and size ensures that students are better known and more closely guided by adults
  • Technology rich environment includes personal computers for each teacher and technology use integrated into classroom learning
  • Quarterly conferences give families a more thorough report on student's progress and provide a clear focus on individual student's needs
  • Strings program for students in grades three through six
  • After school activities basketball and cheerleading
  • An inclusive special education program focused on best practices and meting student's needs

We are now accepting applications for kindergarten through grade eight for the 2008-2009 academic year. Applying students must be five years of age by December 1, 2008 and must be Michigan residents.
