Students as flag bearers

A troop of students from Intercultural Charter School in New Orleans served as a color guard for the 70 nations participating in the opening ceremony of the World Cultural Economic Forum held in New Orleans last month. The students were invited by Louisiana Lt. Governor Mitch Landrieu. Each ICS pupil held a flag from a country represented during the forum’s roll call ceremony.
