Position Summary:
The Renaissance Academy-Edison Charter School is
conducting a national search for an experienced, motivated
and dedicated principal to lead a successful comprehensive
school beginning July 1, 2006. The school currently serves 875
students in grades K-12 in Phoenixville, PA. We are seeking an
exemplary administrator with drive, dedication, vision, superior
communication skills, proven academic success and an unwavering
commitment to high levels of student, teacher and
parent satisfaction and unparalleled academic standards.



Special Skills/Experience Required:
Proven success as an administrator, communicator and
motivator
- Proven ability to work effectively with students, parents,
staff and the community
- Collaborative leadership skills
An ability to facilitate change for continued student
improvement
- Proven skills in public relations, staff development,
parent relations and school finance
- A strong knowledge of K-12 curriculum
Data analysis & technological skills
Commitment to high academic standards
Administrative certification in Pennsylvania
