| Receptionist Location: New York, NY Division/Dept.: Office Services Position Summary: The Receptionist is responsible for receiving all visitors, and handling all incoming general phone calls, as well as managing the reception desk and area. This position is a highly visible position that requires a courteous professional. The Receptionist reports directly to the Office Manager. Responsibilities: · Answer all incoming calls, route calls, and record and dispense messages · Greet and announce all visitors, service vendors, and other guests, and assist visitors as needed · Maintain the front desk and reception area in a neat, professional manner at all times · Maintain all conference rooms and kitchens/pantries. · Maintain scheduling of conference rooms and checked-out equipment (i.e LCD projectors). · Maintain company employee directory. · Responsible for communicating scheduling of corporate appointments, meetings and executive calendars. · Manage all temporary staff affiliated with the reception area · Operate all aspects of the reception area in an efficient, effective manner to affect a positive, cooperative atmosphere to all employees and departments. · Assist with general administrative and computer tasks, such as filing, mailings, copying, collating, word processing, inventory, office maintenance, as assigned by the Office Manager · Perform other services as requested by the Office Manager.
