Position Summary:

The Lead Regional Manager is a full-time position responsible for managing Newton Learning's Supplemental Education Services (SES) after-school programs in the assigned geography. Lead Regional Managers will be primarily responsible for all program components including but not limited to determining strategy for targets in assigned geography, managing relationships with key decision makers, determining student recruitment plans for region, managing the education program at sites, and all program operations.

Responsibilities:

Ø Review state guidelines for assigned geography to review compliance, funding, and reporting requirements.
Ø Determine strategy for targeting assigned territory (geography) after thorough review of all districts.
Ø Identify and establish relationships with key decision makers across targeted school districts and within the education community.
Ø Identify and establish partnerships with community-based organizations.
Ø Manage and execute complex agreements with districts in assigned geography.
Ø Manage end-to-end student enrollment cycle and initiatives across assigned geography, including recruitment, retention and re-enlistment campaigns.
Ø Oversee identification, recruitment, hiring and training of operations personnel.
Ø Manage operations personnel for all phases of program implementation.
Ø Ensure all decisions are consistent with approved program budget.
Ø Oversee all invoicing and reporting requirements for all districts within region.
Ø Ensure adherence to the Education Industry Association's Code of Ethics.
Ø Manage and execute program of professional development for teachers.
Ø Interview and hire teachers.
Ø Ensure quality of teachers and adherence to program throughout duration of program.



Special Skills/Experience Required:
Requirements:

Ø Bachelor's degree in Business, Education or other related field
Ø Successful candidate will possess 5-10 years of operational, management, and business development experience with proven track record in the execution of multi-site and multi-faceted operations
Ø Experience with urban education, community development, or related field;
Ø Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Ø Working knowledge of various computer software packages and technology;
Ø Willingness to travel.
