Position Summary:
Edison is looking for qualified Executive Assistant to be the true right hand to the top executive of the Human Resources department as well as offer administrative support to others in the department on an as needed basis. The qualified candidate will perform a variety of administrative duties which are complex, diversified, and highly confidential, under limited direction of executive supervisor. Relieves supervisor of as much miscellaneous detail as possible through comprehensive knowledge of organizational policies, practices and procedures. Coordinates appointments, schedules, travel plans, meetings and conferences. Assembles, prepares, and distributes a variety of highly confidential information. Processes and audits T&E; for the HR department as well as assist in budget management and reconcilliation. Must be comfortable interacting with senior management.
Special Skills/Experience Required:
Business, secretarial school or equivalent experience with some additional business or college courses, and 10+ years of increasingly responsible administrative experience, including, work in supporting executive level management. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, organization and planning skills, as well as a high degree of PC proficiency (MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint). Must have ability to work under pressure, be dependable, and have flexibility to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism. · Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment · Strong sense of urgency; ability to prioritize · Strong interpersonal skills; professional and corporate demeanor; ability to maintain composure under pressure · Excellent PC skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Netscape) · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Flexibility and resourcefulness; may have to work overtime occassionally · Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills · Self-starter with a strong work ethic and an enthusiastic team player · Ability to maintain the highly confidential This is an exciting time in Edison's history.
