Position Summary:
This position is responsible for editing and resolving queries regarding math and reading test items, reading passages, math graphics, teaching strategies, and correlations to state standards. Conduct quality-control assurance of test developers work for content overlap, item and response distribution, difficulty level, adherence to state blueprints, etc.
Special Skills/Experience Required:
Responsibilities:
· You will edit and resolve queries regarding math and reading test items, graphics, passages, teaching strategies, and correlations to state standards.
· Edit language arts, science, and social science test items.
· Conduct quality control assurance of writer's work for content overlap, item and response distribution, difficulty level, and adherence to state blueprints
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years in educational publishing.
· Familiarity with 2-12 curricula and state testing programs is preferred
· Excellent leadership, communications and organizational skills.
· Action-oriented; strong initiative; able to work well independently.
· Effective communication skills (verbal and written); listens carefully; asks questions to clarify
· High degree of integrity, reliability and professionalism.
· Math experience is a plus.
