| Revenue & Receivable Analyst Location: New York, New York School: HQ Position Summary: Temporary Position with possible full time employment opportunity to follow The Revenue Analyst will provide analytical support on a portfolio of client accounts for the company with the main focus of forecasting revenues and tracking cash and accounts receivables. This individual will work with clients and internal staff to formulate and implement revenue targets, collections policies and procedures and to reconcile accounts. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities Financial Account Analysis · Define Edison's billing, revenue forecasting, and financial reporting practices · Understand issues and concerns of Edison departments with partners' payment, financial reporting, and financial projection practices · Work cooperatively with other Edison departments on revenue-related conflict resolution processes with partners' financial officers with an eye to 1) maximizing Edison revenue collections 2) achieving mutually agreed-upon billing and financial practices, and 3) sustaining and developing the partnership relationship Issue Tracking and Analysis · Seek and use all available information to understand future changes, including formula alterations, new operating and capital financial streams, appropriation, fluctuations, etc. · Develop contacts, when needed, the federal and state level to future this research · Suggest to management, priorities for Edison's political and legal advocacy with regard to changes in school finance Development Research · Assist development staff in devising appropriate revenue assumptions for their deals · Seek and use all available information to research potential partners' revenues and to develop appropriate revenue assumptions from this research · Assist development staff in crafting contract language that promotes Edison's interests in revenue maximization and financial transparency Resource Support · Assist revenue consultants in performing their specific duties, including creation and distribution of revenue information products and account updates · Maintain regular contact with consultants to understand key financial issues raised by partners to which they are assigned · Assist consultants in establishing contacts within Edison with whom they can interact in managing conflict resolution processes · Assist other Edison employees in informing consultants of our issues and concerns with the payment, financial reporting, and financial project practices of partners which these consultants are assigned
