Position Summary:
Edison Schools has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Programmer Analyst. Learn all aspects of the existing ERP systems and related applications. Responsibilities will include: Developing web/system interfaces, financial/business reporting and data manipulation; Support the user community by gathering requirements, document process flows, research vendor solutions and provide specifications for development projects; Must be able to analyze complex specifications and apply knowledge of data structures, data conversion techniques and application capabilities to create user-friendly solutions.



Special Skills/Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree and relevant experience required; Knowledge of application development theory and principles; Practices and methods of electronic data systems and relational databases required; Proficiency in Visual Basic, ASP, ADO and MS Access (VBA) is required; Knowledge of Oracle (sqlplus, plsql) MS Sqlserver, Web Development (ASP, VBscript and JavaScript), Perl and System architecture is preferred; Working knowledge of PYTHON is a plus; Lawson Financials analysis, support or administration knowledge is a plus
