| Regional Recruitment Consultant Location: Midwest School: Position Summary: Regional Recruitment Consultants will market Edison Schools in order to build national candidate pool and support active school sites with their recruitment needs. Responsibilities include: · Marketing Edison Schools opportunities to create regional candidate pool: o Identify and represent Edison Schools at national & regional recruitment fairs. o Build relationships with key colleges/universities and professional organizations. o Identify and coordinate annual regional recruitment junket (i.e. host event with prominent Edison speaker). o Populate Online Application Database. o Manage Recruitment Coordinators local marketing efforts. · Communication with Recruitment Coordinator and Principals regarding needs of school site: o Obtain and update Custom School Profile as needed. o Check in with active school sites on a regular basis via phone or email. o Host Monthly Recruitment Coordinator calls. · Supporting school sites with recruitment efforts by supplying them with qualified candidates: o Update e-TVR. o Post openings online, print, etc. o Search Online Application Database o Phone screen possible candidates. o Send resume and brief review of qualified candidates to school. o Ensure communication with all candidates is maintained at all stages of the recruitment process (i.e. after interview process, once position has been filled, etc.) o Check-in with school site and new hires 4 weeks after date of hire. · Providing proactive recruitment services to all school sites: o Train Recruitment Coordinators o Partner with school site to establish Annual Recruitment Plan o Provide performance feedback to principals regarding Recruitment Coordinator based on ability to follow through with Annual Recruitment Plan. o Support school based efforts to comply with the HQT requirements of NCLB. this includes: Developing and delivering training to site based personnel o Providing reporting updates of NCLB HQT status o Maintaining communications with the schools for new interpretations of legal requirements o Assisting in the teacher credentialing information gathering process regarding state licensure and re-certification
