VP, Executive Director of Achievement Management

Position Summary:
The VP, Executive Director of Achievement Management will have a direct line report to Chief Education Officer and an indirect line to Presidents of District Partnership Schools and Charter Schools. Will also coordinate with Curriculum and Instruction and Assessment Heads.

Will be responsible for Program Development. Specifically, work with Assessment Department to develop and maintain tools for monitoring and driving achievement in Managed and TurnAround Schools, including MAPS, ARCs, Benchmark Reports, etc.; Develop and maintain protocols for work of Achievement Directors and VPshow to do site visits, how to monitor monthly achievement, how to effect change, how to communicate with principals, how to establish, support, and monitor next steps.

Will have Training and Support responsibility to work with VP, Executive Director of Achievement Programs to train all Achievement Directors and VPs and support all Achievement Directors and VPs in their schools. Will supervise and monitor academic progressprogram implementation and student achievementin all Managed Schools on monthly basis; Conduct monthly account reviews of all Achievement Directors and VPs; Direct changes in strategies being pursued by Achievement Directors and VPs; Work with Chief Education Officer to conduct intensive semiannual reviews of all achievement accounts; Supervise Achievement Directors and VPs in managed schools

The preferred location for this position is New York and will require travel approximately 2 days per week.



Special Skills/Experience Required:
-Administrative certification required

-5+ years in Educational Leadership

-Demonstrated evidence of increasing student achievement scores
