| VP, Executive Director of Achievement Programs Location: New York, NY School: Position Summary: The VP, Executive Director of Achievement Programs will have a direct line report to Chief Education Officer and an indirect line to Presidents of District Partnership Schools and Charter Schools. Will also coordinate with Curriculum and Instruction and Assessment Heads Will be responsible for Program Development. Specifically to Develop and maintain all Edison programs associated with Achievement Discipline and Design , Learning Environment and Student Management, Edison School Organization, Student Achievement Plans and Execution. Will develop and maintain all Edison Leadership Programs, including Edison Leadership Team Training, Edison Leadership Development Academy, and The Edison Leadership Framework, including resources for annual and ongoing national and regional programs; Upgrade programs regularly through attention to best practices in Edison Schools; Work with Editorial staff to produce, organize, and disseminate above program materials in a manner that maximizes their effectiveness and heightens their visibility as intellectual property; Create working groups and committees to assist in the development of all programs. Will provide Training and Support in organizing and facilitating regular training of Achievement Directors and VPs in the use of Achievement, Discipline, and Design programs, including quarterly meetings and organize and facilitate training of Certified Trainers in the Learning Environment program. Will manage the Professional Development, specifically to organize and facilitate program for Edison Leadership Institute; Organize and facilitate program for Principal Leadership Conference; Work with Curriculum and Instruction to organize and facilitate Annual Achievement Academies The preferred location for this position is New York and will require travel to various conferences during the year.
